This Inspiration Shoot was featured on Red Oak Weddings this past May and I've finally got around to putting all the flowers here on the blog!
Last September I had the pleasure of working on this project with Kate from Kate and Co. Events and her amazing round-up of local vendors. She did a fabulous job bringing us all together and keeping us on theme while Kelsey, from Kelsey Combe Photography, captured our work spectacularly.
For this, we did a garland of silver dollar eucalyptus with touches of maiden hair fern. Then I studded it with cream garden roses and cream carnations. To break up the white and to give it a more mystical feel, I wanted to bring in layers of lavender. The dark purple clematis, paired with the pale scabiosa gave the arrangement height and whimsy, then anchored everything by the fuschia carnations buried in among the cream garden roses. The couple carried everything well and the sunlight in the park was incredibly warm and inspiring.
It was a pleasure working with them and I can't wait to do it again!
