Alexa and Jason were married this past December at the Candlewood Inn . They did their own centerpieces, but needed a hand with their bouquets and I was happy to help! I had worked with the family before and was so thrilled they wanted me to be a part of another celebration. Alexa wanted a subtle winter’s touch and a smaller, more posy-style size for her bouquets so I used silver brunia, white spray roses, and white tulips. She wanted a touch of burgundy for her girls’ bouquets so I decided to go with burgundy cymbidium orchids for a more visually interesting effect. Photography was done by the amazing Joanna Fisher.
I recently did a wedding with Maggie from Slainte Events at Stony Creek Brewery full of baby's breath. Personally, baby's breath isn't my favorite medium to work with but I think the bride's bouquet and the groom's buttonhole came out really lovely. These are just photos I snapped with my camera before packing everything up! (You can check out my #howflowerstravel shot on my instagram page). Also, did I mention is was a spectacularly dreary day? Well, it was and we still enjoyed our beers outside on the terrace in the rain. It was fabulous.
