from the bride

Your flowers are exceptional; they have personality and life that other arrangements don’t have.

Elaine and Elliott were married at the classic Ivy Inn this past April in Charlottesville, Virginia. Their ceremony was simple and elegant at the University of Virginia Chapel. After, they rode off in an amazing classic car provided by the groom’s family. Charlottesville, VA graced us with some incredible spring weather! Since it was so lovely, we were able to source the lilac in the bride’s bouquet from her own garden. It seemed like the last breath of spring before the southern heat began to creep in. Her flowers were all white with unique and varied textures including some amazing bleached ruscus from Holland. Take a peek and let me know what you think!

Winter White & Silver Wedding | Candlewood Inn | Alexa + Jason

from the bride:

I cannot thank you enough for the beautiful flowers you did for our wedding. They were absolutely perfect and everyone was raving about them.”

Alexa and Jason were married this past December at the Candlewood Inn . They did their own centerpieces, but needed a hand with their bouquets and I was happy to help! I was the family’s floral design before and was so thrilled they wanted me to be a part of another celebration. Alexa wanted a subtle winter’s touch and a smaller, more posy-style size for her bouquets so I used silver brunia, white spray roses, and white tulips. She wanted a touch of burgundy for her girls’ bouquets so I decided to go with burgundy cymbidium orchids for a more visually interesting effect. Photography was done by the amazing Joanna Fisher.
