Sarah & Austin's Classic Celebration at St. Clement's Castle

Sarah and Austin got married on a toasty June afternoon at St. Clement's Castle. This wedding was especially special to me since Sarah and I have known each other since we were kids! Her sister and I played soccer together when we were little (her dad was our coach!), and we all played in high school together. It was an incredible opportunity to be a part of her wedding and to celebrate with her whole family. We stayed to watch the ceremony and thank goodness we did! You can check out why in this post here:

I had initially planned on using lisianthus as one of her blossoms but the peonies were just absolutely spectacular so I added them in as a surprise to the bride. The campanula was also a last minute decision and I think both flowers elevated the design. Our palette was white and ivory with touches of light pink.

Congratulations Sarah and Austin! I wish you all of the best.

Sneak Peak: Sara & Casey

Sara and Casey were married this past July at the Guilford Yacht Club. It was an incredible celebration with photography captured by Jeremie Barlow and planning by Slainte Event Planning. We are psyched to share more, so stay tuned!

Rosé all Day

Earlier this summer I participated in a photoshoot involving an amazing group of local boss ladies. I was invited to design the flower arrangements by Karen of Small Kitchen, Big Taste who is an amazing local chef! She was helped along by the inspiring lifestyle and fashion blogger behind Finding Silver Linings. Together we have this! You can check out Mindy's original post here but I wanted to give some more detailed shots from the incredible Bridget Hecht on my blog!

My favorite part about these photos are the cows, seriously. How adorable?

I used two types of roses, two types of queen anne's lace, silver brunia, dahlias, and silver dollar eucalyptus. The vases were all picked up from Target. I really wanted to do something in marble and these were perfect! For a larger party, I probably couldn't get away with spending $13 on each floral container but for a small shoot like this, it was the perfect touch.

This is a lovely photo of Karen, who organized this whole thing! Much love to her.

Sneak Peak: Indian Summer Styled Shoot

Megan, from Coppola Creative (you can check her mad calligraphy skills here), asked me to help on this lovely little shoot and I was happy to help. She mentioned pineapples and I was sold! You can check out the full shoot at Westchester Wedding Planner or Bespoke Bride. Here's a peep at some of the bright & colorful florals I put together.

Special thanks to all the amazing vendors who worked on this project!
