A Blush-and-Navy Carousel Wedding at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven
Lighthouse Point Park Carousel · New Haven, Connecticut
SUMMER · 180 GUESTS · SET + STYLE · CLASSIC · ROMANTIC · BLUSH + NAVY
Let's be honest: when your reception comes with its own antique carousel, the flowers have some competition. So we leaned classic and let the horses have their moment. The bride carried a cascading bouquet of white lilies dotted with lisianthus, sweet pea and spray roses, with a spray of jasmine vine trailing through and a flowing ivory ribbon. Her five bridesmaids, in blush chiffon with one standout in gold sequins, carried petite bouquets of cream roses and blush lisianthus, tied in blue ribbon to nod to the navy details inside. In the sunlit pavilion, eighteen tables got elegant gatherings of white hydrangea in clear glass, glowing with the couple's own candles against navy napkins and rose gold sequin runners. And that grand entrance? Arms up, all joy, carousel spinning in the background. Exactly how a party should start.

“Emma was simply fantastic. She captured exactly what I wanted and even added some extras that made my vision of my wedding bouquet even more fabulous. Even from our first phone call, I knew that Emma was an artist that took her craft very seriously and tries her best to capture the essence of her clients. I received so many compliments on my bridal bouquet. She is, no doubt, the best!”
