Kayli + Aaron chose an intimate elopement at Mayflower Inn and Spa in Washington, CT over a large wedding celebration. They were very mindful of the overall aesthetic but were very open to ideas about the exact details. We went with mercury glass tulip compotes in two sizes, set alongside our vintage glass votive holders, and brass taper candles in hurricane sleeves. We filled the reception with some early spring flowers from the CT Flower Collective including local tulips, sweet pea, snowdrops set alongside amazing Secret Garden blush roses and some creamy David Austin garden roses. The ceremony were large silver urns filled with flowering branches and local blossoms. Platinum Key Events led the planning for the day and were an absolute treat to work with! Plus, the Mayflower Inn was an incredible venue — from the beautiful gardens to the unique interior design, the whole day was an experience in style and taste.
