M + G were married on a gorgeous September day in Madison, CT. The bride wanted warm honey colored florals with the smallest hint of blue to match the calming views of the sail boats rocking on Long Island Sound behind them. We created planted-style garden boxes for the seaside ceremony with lush hydrangeas, taupe roses, blue delphinium and bright yellow clematis paired with in-season autumn olive. Using local blossoms such as the cafe au lait dahlias, zinnias and dainty cosmos made the centerpieces feel perfectly at home against the dark wood panels of the iconic Madison Beach Club.
